I am Nada Sertić, freelance graphic designer from Zagreb, Croatia. I have been working in InDesign for over 20 years, designing and creating numerous press and web-ready layouts and designs. It used to be my full-time job at Kolumna, a graphic studio where I collaborated with local publishing houses such as Matica hrvatska (Matrix Croatica), Croatian Film Association, Ljevak Bookstore, Leykam International, Ex libris, Memorial Documentation Centre of the Homeland War, and many others.
Since becoming a freelancer, I have had the opportunity to work with amazing clients worldwide. To name just a few: Quenza, Positive Psychology, Subula, The Next Media Group, Lisclare, Packet Design, and xAgency.
I use paragraph, character, object, table styles, scripts, parent pages and shortcuts to complete my tasks as quickly and efficiently as possible. I am familiar with cross-references, footnotes, automatic headers and footers, clickable table of contents, links, bookmarks, etc. I am accustomed to all sorts of layout modifications, such as font changes, text revisions, and repositioning of images. I am working in InDesign CC on PC.
I am also familiar with Photoshop and Camera Raw for photo editing, as well as creating infographics in InDesign or Illustrator or finding stock illustrations and adjusting them if necessary. I can also create social media posts and simple animations. After years of perfecting my photography skills, I recently expanded my services to include food and product photography. I am always learning and mastering new skills, such as 3D rendering and animation in Blender.
